ABOUT HOCKEY BENOIT BARBEAU

Hockey Benoit Barbeau is a small private organization that offers a wide variety of products and services targeting the development of young ice hockey players and their coaches.

Benoit Barbeau is a trained physical educator. Involved in the world of hockey as a coach, technical advisor, teacher and speaker since 1976, he is currently teaching hockey to students of the Sport-Études program at Montreal's Édouard-Montpetit secondary school. Benoit has also trained hundreds of elite coaches all across the province of Quebec since the mid-1980s through his various seminars. He also delivers training to Quebec coaches who are part of the Player Development Program. And if that weren't enough, he has even found the time to be an assistant-coach in Midget AAA for two seasons!

Benoit has extensive experience developing young hockey players. His unique and modern approach is easy to deliver and has gained an ever-increasing number of followers. His Ice Hockey Teaching Program for Novice and Pre-Novice is in use across the province of Quebec for the Initiation sector, as well as in a number of clubs in France. Committed to the quality of teaching, he presents coaches with a comprehensive approach that is easy to both apply and understand.

The Benoit Barbeau Summer Hockey School in July and the Pre-Season Camp in August draw over 250 young hockey enthusiasts. Quality of teaching remains a priority at all times.
